Darlene is in town visiting her family, so we headed to
TCDC to check out the
library and
shop.

TCDC's library provides a quiet spot to review reference materials, computer stations and media rooms with a selection of DVDs to choose from. First timers have access to the facilities for one day, after which you must buy a pass or membership.

The
Material ConneXion library provides architects and designers with a space to access a variety of woods, textiles, etc. with a global network connecting Bangkok to New York, Cologne, Daegu and Milan.

TCDC has created mini-libraries for twelve provinces throughout Thailand. Access to art and reference books is already a privilege in our part of the world, so it is nice to know that efforts are being made to make resources available to a wider audience outside of central, urban Bangkok.
